My name is Justin. I am currently a Senior at Cardinal Spellman High School. My favorite sport is football. I had thought of becoming an NFL player back in 3rd or 4th grade because I saw some Madden NFL gameplay and became interested in actually playing it. I picked Spellman, Cardinal Hayes, and Mt. Saint Michael as my choices for Catholic high schools because of their football programs. Honestly, I chose Spellman because of the fact that it had girls. 
My elementary school was Manhattan Christian Academy. As it was in Manhattan, most of my early life was there and I had identified with it in a way, even though I was born in the Bronx. While there I participated in Track and had fun in the two track meets I ran in.
At home, I like to play games from my PS4, Xbox One, and other systems and sometimes read books when I do have the free time. Most of the books I’ve read on my own are military books as I am very interested in that and look forward to my own time in the Marines. Going to the recruiter was very scary for me but the process went smoothly and within 2 weeks I already enlisted into the Delayed Entry Program. Expecting to leave on July 29, I look forward to making myself “hard” mentally and physically in the 10 months between now and that day.
I hope that this final senior year treats me and my classmates well as we finally move onto the next steps for our higher goal.
